Installation Guidelines

  • Rack Mounting: The module uses a single Euro format 4TE form factor (160x100x20 mm) and interfaces via a DIN 41612 Bauform F 48-pin connector.
  • Jumper Settings:
    • Position jumper X5 across pins 1-8 to enable pushbuttons 2 and 3, or pins 2-7 to disable pushbuttons 2 and 3 for security.
    • Position jumper X5 across pins 3-6 for run mode, or pins 4-5 for programming mode.
    • Position jumper X12 across pins 2-3 to enable shift register bits 1-4, or pins 1-2 to disable them.
    • Keep jumpers X6, X7, and X8 disconnected (no jumper placed) during normal operation.
  • Parameter Security: To prevent unauthorized or accidental changing of set points in safety applications, set jumper X5 to position 2-7. Changing jumper positions requires pulling the module out of the rack.
